Who operates Mango Orbit

Mango Orbit is operated by Rahul Sharma as the home of his independent products, open-source software, and writing. A formal business address and legal contact email have not yet been supplied and must be added before a wider public launch.

Information you provide

The contact form does not currently transmit information to Mango Orbit’s servers. When an email address is configured, it prepares a message in your own email application; your mail provider then processes what you choose to send. Mango Orbit does not claim a submission was delivered unless you send it.

Hosting and operational logs

The hosting provider may process IP addresses, request metadata, timestamps, device or browser information, and diagnostic logs to deliver and protect the site. Those logs are handled under the hosting provider’s terms and retention practices.

Analytics, cookies, and local storage

No analytics or advertising trackers are implemented. The theme control stores a dark/light preference in your browser’s local storage. That preference stays on your device. Essential infrastructure may still use security or session technologies when the private Site access layer is enabled.

Third-party integrations and external links

Product release information is retrieved from GitHub’s official public API with cached verified fallback metadata. Writing and profile links open GitHub, Medium, X, Reddit, RankDeck, or other external sites. Those services process information under their own privacy policies. This site does not embed third-party social feeds or silently scrape account data.

Downloads

Release download buttons point to assets published through GitHub Releases. GitHub may record standard access information when you visit or download a file.

Retention and security

Because this site currently has no database and does not receive contact submissions, it does not keep a site-owned visitor record. Hosting logs and messages sent through external email or social services have their own retention periods. Reasonable technical safeguards are used, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can avoid local theme storage by leaving the default theme unchanged, clear local storage in your browser, and choose whether to follow any external link. Applicable privacy rights vary by location. A dedicated legal contact channel must be added here before the policy is treated as final.

Changes

This policy will be updated when collection practices, analytics, contact delivery, hosting, or integrations change. The effective date at the top will be revised with material updates.
